You may know her from her stint on TV, but Nicole Paige Brooks (from Atlanta Georgia) made a name for herself long before she twirled and begged for cherry pah on RuPaul's Drag Race season 2. If you've ever attended a drag show in Midtown ATL, you are probably well aware of #NPBFAG's loud mouth and wild antics. From the immortal stage of Backstreet and the Starlight Cabaret, becoming the wicked stepmother to Atlanta's Legendary Children and getting roasted by her friends and colleagues—it's clear that the local drag scene just wouldn't be the same without her.
This past weekend, the legend herself stepped into the WUSSY chamber to talk to Brigitte Bidet about titty plates, her drag mother Shawnna Brooks, and how she thinks queer people can do better.
If you're in the Atlanta area, be sure to see Nicole at Wild Out Wednesday every Wednesday night at Felix's, featuring Mo'Dest Volgare and Mychelle LaCroix Dupree. They will be celebrating their one year anniversary Wednesday, January 20th!
