WUSSYMIX // NOVEMBER ‘18 Playlist

The queerest of national holidays, Gay Christmas, went as quickly as it came. But October was also an incredible time in queer culture. Sharon Needles dressed up as Marilyn Manson on the Heels of Hell tour and St. Vincent released a sexy lounge version of MASSEDUCTION (called MassEducation, and yes).

Furthermore, American Horror Story: Apocalypse served us the reunion of Misty and Cordelia and warlocks played by three handsome and out gay actors. Not to mention, The Good Place confirmed that Eleanor is totally and undoubtedly bi. Me, I saw The Dresden Dolls on the eve of their 18th birthday.

Oh, and a pop singer released an album, but you can read about that basically anywhere.

And then there was our October playlist, WUSSYMIX, which I hope you guys enjoyed as much as I did making it. (Hint: It was a lot.) For November, we’re going punk with GRLwood, generationally sleek with a King Princess remix of Perfume Genius, and anguishedly jamming to my favorite track from the new album by Laura Jane Grace & the Devouring Mothers as I remember my forgotten youth.

Until next time, my queer audiophiles. My liver must now go to recover.
